    Roadi vs. Opendate

Opendate sells the show to your fans. Roadi shares the deal with the band.

Both handle holds to settlement. Roadi also lets the band see and approve the deal from a link, at a price on the page.

    Both do

Holds and challenges, offers, settlements, advancing, rentals and reporting.

    Only Roadi

A free workspace for bands, artist contracts signed online, and settlements the band approves from a link. Pricing on the page, from $49 a month.

    Opendate leads on

Ticketing, fan marketing and bar sales from your POS in one system, rental invoicing, and hundreds of venues since 2020.

One settlement. Both sides read it.

The settlement builds itself from the offer. The band opens the same numbers on their phone and approves them from a link, so nobody re-keys a total at 1am.

When Opendate is the better pick

We'd rather you choose the right tool than switch and regret it. Opendate has been around longer, and today it's the stronger choice if:

    • You want ticketing, fan email and SMS from the same company that runs your calendar.
    • You want bar and food sales from Square or Toast synced into every settlement.
    • You rent your rooms out often and invoice renters from your booking tool.
    • You run a performing arts center and need memberships and donations in the same system.

    Switching from Opendate

    We do the heavy lifting.

    Customer story

“You didn't just take our requirements and nail them. You got inside our heads and showed us how we should be running the nonprofit.”

    Switching from Opendate: common questions

Can you move our shows over from Opendate?
Yes. Send us your show history as a spreadsheet (CSV), or paste it from Google Sheets or Excel, and our team imports it. Do it before you cancel: Opendate's terms say it does not retain your content once the agreement ends.
We sell tickets through Opendate. Can we keep doing that?
Yes. Keep selling through Opendate and import your box office sales report straight into the Roadi settlement. If your ticketing platform has an open API, we'll integrate with it.
Do the bands we book have to pay?
No. Independent bands never pay for Roadi. They see the offers, contracts and settlements you share with them.
Does an agent need a Roadi account to accept an offer?
No. Agents accept, decline or counter from a secure link. Contracts are signed and settlements approved the same way.
    What does Roadi cost?
Venue plans start at $49 a month and are sized by room capacity, with unlimited seats and unlimited shows.
Roadi is in beta. What does that mean for us?
You get hands-on setup from the team building it, and your feedback shapes what ships next.
